Why Span International Academy?
- Span International Academy offers the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education curriculum); which is regarded as one of the best curriculums available and has flexible norms. To deliver the curriculum effectively, SIA has affiliated with the Edexcel board. The education system developed by Edexcel has been adopted and implemented by the school. Edexcel is a multinational education and examination body owned by Pearson Edexcel, the only privately owned examination board in the UK, and part of Pearson plc. It regulates school examinations under the British Curriculum and offers qualifications for schools on the international and regional scale. Edexcel is the UK's largest awarding organisation offering academic and vocational qualifications in schools, colleges and work places in the UK and worldwide. It is also recognized intemationally.
- With effect from January 2015, SIA has been granted recognition as a registered private institution under NCS Pearson India Pvt Ltd. Noida, for the conduct of Edexcel International Primary and Lower Secondary Examinations (Grade 5 & Grade 8) and IGCSE (Grade 10)
- Generally, educational institutes offering the IGCSE curriculum levy an annual fee of approximately Rs 1,50,000/- per annum for Grade 10. SIA intends to offer the same at a much lower cost. The IGCSE - Edexcel Examination fees (applicable for Grade 5, Grade 8 and Grade 10) will be additional. For Grade 5 and Grade 8, the examination fee for three subjects (English, Maths and Science) will be approximately Rs 10,000/- Whereas, the examination fee for Grade 10 (all subjects) will be Rs 30,000/-approximately.
- Parents are requested to take note of these expenses while admitting their child to SIA. The amounts mentioned above, may vary with the variation in the UK£/INR exchange rate and revision in examination fees by the Edexcel board.
- We at SIA aim to adopt the best educational equipment and teaching aids to impart knowledge in our class rooms.
- Arabic Language, Hifz and knowledge of Qu’ran & Hadith are part of the curriculum.

(a) Pre-Primary students can opt for Hindi instead of Arabic.
(b) Primary students (Grade 1 — 4) can opt for Marathi instead of Arabic.
(c) Primary students (Grade 5 upwards) can opt for either German/French/Urdu instead of Arabic.
- Hindi, Marathi, Computer Studies, General Knowledge and Art & Craft form the other subjects of the curriculum.
- Sports and extracurricular activities are an important aspect for the all round development of the students. Some of the extra curricular activities can be opted for at an additional cost.
- It is our endeavor to appoint well-qualified and experienced teachers and also provide opportunities to well-qualified and capable freshers so as to nurture their talent.
- The maximum student strength per class is maintained at around 30 students.
- It is our constant endeavor to ensure that the atmosphere in the school is always pleasant and conducive for effective learning.
